Most real needs don’t show up on social media. They live quietly behind closed doors — carried by people who don’t know how to ask, or don’t feel comfortable asking.
At the same time, there are plenty of people who genuinely want to help. They just don’t know who needs it, or where to start.
When help stays local, it actually works. Same ZIP Code. Same community. Real connection instead of random outreach.
Serve My ZIP simply connects those two people. One form to say “I need help.” One form to say “I can help.” We take care of the rest.
No noise. No spotlight. Just neighbors helping neighbors — right where we live.
Real questions about how Serve My ZIP works and what to expect.
Serve My ZIP is a simple way to connect neighbors who need help with neighbors who are willing to help — all within the same ZIP Code. We act as the connector so help stays local, practical, and respectful.
Everyday, real-life help. Things like small home projects, rides, meals, moving help, yard work, checking on someone, prayer support, or short-term assistance during a tough season.
There are two forms. One for people who need help and one for people who are willing to help. When a need comes in, we share it anonymously inside the ZIP Code Facebook group and connect willing helpers privately.
Yes. Needs are shared without names or personal details. We only connect people directly after someone volunteers to help and both sides are comfortable moving forward.
No. Serve My ZIP is completely free. This is about community, not transactions.
Not at all. Raising your hand means you’re open to helping when you can. There’s no obligation and no pressure.
We’re building this out ZIP Code by ZIP Code across the Phoenix metro area and beyond. If your ZIP isn’t live yet, you can still raise your hand and we’ll notify you when it opens.
No, but faith matters to us. Serve My ZIP is open to everyone. We also partner with the National Prayer Wall for those who want prayer or enjoy praying for others.
Every submission is reviewed. We keep things local, simple, and human. If something doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t move forward.
